Volunteer Opportunities
Since 2015, Onyxx Village Connection has been on a mission to feed the hungry, eliminate food waste, and connect our community to resources to improve their quality of life.
Our organization restores dignity to underserved individuals and families in East Palo Alto and surrounding areas by delivering meals, resources, love, and compassion through mobile outreach and partnership. Our unique approach is to meet those in need where they are.
We serve the homeless, seniors, children, the unemployed, and the working poor.
Meal Preparation
Monday – Thursday, 11am – 2pm
Responsibilities
- Assist staff and volunteers with preparing hot meals in take out containers
- Package meals in creates to be ready for delivery
- Hand out meals to individuals and families who are picking up from the church
- Bag groceries for delivery
Time Commitment: 2-3 Hours Weekly
